Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather was born in Portugal and immigrated to the United States.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. Although Nash was a fan of sports at an early age, she had always hoped to become a journalist. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication as well as Media Studies. In 2009, she received her degree from Clemson University with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for her services as a coach on the Sports Information Department's Soccer and Baseball teams she was given an athletic scholarship that was full-time by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is a MLB Network studio host. She is featured in a variety of shows, including Quick Pitch (nightly highlights) and Quick Pitch (quick pitch). She is also an NHL Network Studio host. She is a guest on the Nightly Game recap show, On The Fly. In March 2015, she joined the MLB Network. She also started working for the NHL Network in 2015. This was when the NHL Network's everyday operations were located at the MLB Network headquarters.
